BBM and What's App

In every day life there are moments when we feel lonely, not lonely enough to pick up the phone and call people but we just wanna have some meaning less conversations. It kind of acts like a buffer makes us forget all our worries, makes us feel less lonely, like a stress buster. BBM and what's app have become so important and integral part of our day to day lives, we all know we are addicted to them. They make us smile in moments of pain, they keep us entertained and most importantly they help us gossip. There are those times when we can even connect with the people from the past from whom we have moved on, just to realise they still care. Lovely feeling! Also, those weird moments when we search for the person, start typing stuff just in an effort to start a conversation and don't know what to say to keep the conversation going.... So we keep on sending all sorts of smiles. Then comes those times when we know he/she has read the messages but is not replying and we eagerly wait and wait for a reply! People pour their hearts out in status messages and display pictures... Plus we have our bunch of agony aunts and uncles who'd ask whats upsetting u for the sad status message... And provide valuable advice. Just that Life does seem a little easy thx to BBM and what's app. Helping people feel less lonely in a very lonely world is a true achievement.

An open letter to BCCI by Kunal Salvi.

I m not that big a cricket fan but most of my friends are. Only thing very very annoying is during IPL matches most of my cricket lover friends are either glued to their TVs or are checking the scores. Most complaint that IPL has made cricket boring and I kind of agree.... Kunal's letter to the BCCI is precisely tackling this and more issues related to the multi million business in India - Cricket.
